简介：In the 17th year of Chongzhen, Ma Shaoyu accompanied Zuo Maodi on a defense tour of the Yangtze River and avoided the Jiashen Incident. After Emperor Hongguang ascended the throne in Nanjing, he followed Zuo Maodi and Chen Hongfan northward to negotiate peace at the order of Emperor Hongguang. The peace negotiation failed and he was detained on his way back south and later surrendered to the Qing Dynasty.
