简介：Compared with the matchlock, the flintlock not only simplified the shooting procedure and increased the rate of fire, but most importantly, it overcame the weather-resistant weakness of the matchlock ignition. The modification and completion time of this invention was roughly the same period as that in Europe. It quickly became popular in Europe, but in the Ming Dynasty, until Bi Maokang's death, the flintlock gun did not appear in the Ming army.
